CYD Tone was born and raised on the East Side of Charlotte, NC, by a single mother who instilled in him the values of hard work, resilience, and ambition. Before stepping into the music industry, he was a standout Division 1 basketball player with opportunities to go pro. However, he made the bold decision to walk away from the game and chase a new dream—one fueled by passion, creativity, and an unshakable vision.

 

Determined to carve his own path, CYD Tone founded Tunnel Vision Entertainment and has since been making waves in the music industry. With five mixtapes and two EPs under his belt, his sound continues to evolve, blending raw storytelling with undeniable energy. His talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, earning praise from industry heavyweights like super-producer Amadeus, who told him, “You have the type of music that will be heard around the world, not just the US.” But music is just the beginning. As he continues to build his name, he’s also setting his sights on the world of film and fashion, working to expand his creative empire.
